City on a Bay

Written By - Tessa Cash

City on a bay
City of dreams
Houses nestled in the hills
The sea more beautiful than a picture can convey
O-Farrell spits on my meagre reality

My mind craves
My body caves
No self control
My way of coping
Just want to be home
But don’t want to exist in this place anymore

A lady sits
With a dog in her lap
So many hairs on her knees
But she doesn’t care
I wish I didn’t care.
